A SHELL OF A MAN:-
A shell of a man cant get past the basics,
A shell of a man cant let go the past,
A shell of a man does not learn from his downfall,
A shell of a man does not pick himself up,
A shell of a man remains too idle,
Lost in his world of imagine and make belief,
Where the lies give way to peace,
A shell of a man cannot believe,
The life we live has a thousand suns,
Some setting as we go,
Some rising as we wander,
A shell of a man has nothing to see for he does not have the courage to go yonder,
In the words of the great,
battles are won first in the mind,
Many died fighting their battles,
But a shell of a man never pondered,
You will fall, you will be crushed,
Life is not that easy,
But don’t take that trust,
If you are too alone or too occupied,
Either way you miss what’s encapsulating life,
Too slow or too fast,
Too meek or too shallow,
Too stubborn or too yielding,
To plastic or too weak,
Too insecure or too proud,
Either way its your loss,
Either way its your loss,
Fight, that’s the call,
A shell of a man never did it at all.
